About the Founder

Yvonne Carruthers is the founder of First Aid Training Scotland and has been delivering first aid training since 2016.

Alongside a successful career in stage and production management for touring theatre, music and live events, Yvonne developed a strong commitment to first aid safety and preparedness.

In summer 2024, she made the decision to focus full-time on first aid training, driven by a genuine passion for ensuring people have the skills and confidence to save a life if they are ever faced with an emergency.

Outside of training, Yvonne enjoys scuba-diving in the UK and abroad, and horse-riding.
